MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY!
People of Action Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary members have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end. Camp Royal Camp Royal is the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference organized each June in the mountains of northern California. The 72 Rotary Clubs of Rotary International District 5160 have been providing this leadership learning opportunity since 1979. In 2010, we hosted 145 outstanding young leaders. A leader is a leader not because of who he/she is, but because of who others become when they are in the leader’s presence.” Author Unknown This is a premier leadership training opportunity provided to worthy young people by our Rotary Clubs, part of Rotary's New Generations mission.
